Hello, Im having troubles with the default printer option in Windows 7. In the past we had published printers. They are all gone. So users must add the printer they want by them self. No problems here. When they mark our OCE printers as default and log off and on. the default printer is reverted to anything but the OCE. So a pdf writer is default. When I remove the PDF writer and log off and on it marks the fax as default. And then the XPS viewer. But not the OCE printer. We have 250 users and aprox. 10 have these issues. All in different OU's The rest of my colleagues have no problems what so ever. what I have tried so far: remove all printers and adding them again. No effect. Remove all printer connections in registry. Nog effect. rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /y /n\\servername\printername works but its more a workaround. please help!

I think I have pinned the problem. There were still some old printer entries in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers I removed them at 2 users and after that it worked. So I will check the remaining users if it works or not!
